A summary about our progress on the 2006-mod.
Since we write alot in our Development Blog, we missed some status report on our mainpage. So here is a summary of our progress.
We have finished 10 of 11 cars. Those currently get their season upgrades and last touch ups to get a consistent look throughout all cars. Renault is the car, that is still missing, there were some delays involved, but Marco finished the model and he says it's one of his best. Currently it is being mapped by our new member Afburro who joined recently. Painting should start soon and then the grid will be complete.
In the meantime additional work goes on. Steering wheels are updated and half of them will be made from scratch. Most notable are contributions by Matthew, Raül and again Afburro who get the job done. One thing not yet touched are the lods, the level of details, to enhanve performance. They will be done once all cars are done by Andy.
Physics are already pretty far. Suspensions and the car-difference have yet to be done, but it will get hot once all cars are ready and the mod enters Silver-stage, meaning that we official start betatests. And there is a lot to test.
We have an aim and we are working towards it.
Of course we won't give you a released date now, but we start seeing an end.
So stay tuned and let us surprise you one day. :)
